Pre-Wire
After lock-up and substantial completion of electrical, plumbing and heating, the low voltage pre-wire begins. This ensures proper separation from high-voltage wires and reduces possible damage to sensitive data cabling.
Special construction considerations are also addressed by the carpenters and electricians to accomodate both structural and electrical requirements to our rigid specifications.
All aspects or the pre-wire are documented "as-built" with photos and detailed drawings for future reference.

Supply and installation
Equipment is ordered with appropriate lead time to ensure no unwanted delays during the finishing process. Often painters and millwork finishers require speakers or components so they can complete their job in a timely fashion. This helps keep the project on schedule.
Actual selection of the equipment was established during the Proposal stage, but is re-visited just prior to ordering each component. This helps to make sure the most current model is ordered and helps keep the costs on track.
Performance and future compatablity is always a consideration when installing any component.
As the system comes together extensive testing and set-up is done during a run-in period.
Preliminary programming and set-up is also done at this time.

Final set-up, configuration and documentation
Final programming, configuration and set-up is done once all other trades have completed their jobs and the Home Owner's furniture, finishings and personal items have arrived and been placed in the rooms. This allows for the most accurate calibration of each system.
Wiring diagrams are completed "as-built" for accurate documentation of the system for future trouble shooting and upgrades to the system.
"How to Use" manuals are also supplied detailing installed components, what they do, and how to use them.
One-touch remote controls and keypads are finailzed and customized for the Home Owners specific needs.
